- Attorney review can take 1 day or weeks. It all depends on how quickly everyone moves and how well both sides get along
- Confirm receipt of deposit prior to inspections being completed
- The buyer will schedule inspections and the appraisal (order and speed depends on negotiations during attorney review)
- Negotiate any inspection issues
- Negotiate any appraisal shortage if not guarantee is given
- Get mortgage commitment
- Get 'clear to close' a few days prior to closing
- Final walkthrough. This is done on the day of closing and the house needs to be completely empty and 'broom swept clean'.
